Quartell is one of the five villages that make up La Vall de Segó. The villages are very near one another, within a kilometre away. They are situated in a spectacular valley full of orange trees. The valley is near the sea, so it’s quite warm all the year round. An ideal place for lovers of walking, cycling and country pursuits.

The beaches of Almardá, Corinto, Canet d’En Berenguer, Almenara etc. (about 5 km away) are easily accessible from quiet roads und unspoilt tracks.

The Natural Parks of La Sierra de Espadán and La Sierra Calderona are a few kilometers to the interior. Enjoy the magnificent scenery trekking in the mountains and visiting picturesque villages.

Sagunto (5 km) is the capital of the Camp de Morvedre region. There is a beautiful old quarter dating back to Roman times. Archaeological sites abound. The city hosts a summer festival called Sagunto a escena in its Roman theatre.

Valencia (30 km) is a great city. There are very important monuments and museums. For example:
Two very well preserved gothic doors which were once part of the old city wall: Torres dels Serrans and Torres de Quart.
La lonja de la seda.
Two beautifully preserved modernist markets: El Mercado Central and El Mercado de Colón.

And for art lovers the San Pio V museum, the IVAM, The Arts and Sciences museum and the largest aquarium in Europe: L’Oceanogràphic.
